Hey there everyone! Sophia and I wanted to check-in since this week has obviously not gone as planned. Following the Thanksgiving holiday, the entire family got some sort of stomach bug. That was followed by my back flaring up, which means I can't really do too much. My back is still healing up, but we are hoping to get the podcast rolling again next week.
Besides the random health issues, the podcast and influencer climate online is total trash right now. It has been a complete shit show to watch on the daily basis. Although we are happy to offer our thoughts and opinions, we also don't want the drama online to be the sole focus of the podcast episode after episode. More than likely, we will jump back in with an episode of Behind The Scenes Cast.
Outside of the above excuses (lolz), I am currently working on a new schedule for content releases. Right now, as has been increasingly obvious to our viewers, it is a struggle to record the podcast on the nights we currently have set aside. I want to maintain, at minimum, the twice weekly episodes of "uchatspice;" however, "At The Bar" is probably going on the backburner until we rethink or retool that concept further.
I also want to increase the amount of gaming content as that space is very competitive and heavily saturated. 30min videos two times a week isn't going to be enough to get our "foot in the door." We spent time going over about a half dozen games which are multiplayer/split-screen or playable on Sophia's Chromebook. We landed on a few that we think will be great additions going forward AND we can play them right away (ie. not waiting for the next update to get started, like with Stardew Valley).
As you might imagine, I haven't mentioned the vlogs because they are doing great! We have plenty of vlogs filmed (I believe enough to get us through January of next year), and the days they post never really seem to matter.
All of that said, we know most of you (perhaps all of you) are here specifically for the podcast; so, the entire goal is to remake the release schedule for the sake of the podcast being on-time, relevant, and produced with the least amount of stress. Ideally, we have a new BTSC either Monday or Wednesday of this week with the new schedule posting everywhere shortly after. BTSC will have a public preview with the full episode being for our Supporters here.

Quick update: Archive has permanently limited our audio uploads. For some reason, they keep labeling it as spam. Instead of putting the audio only version of the podcast on Archive, we are going to post it here (as long as we have the file space). I'm currently looking for an alternative site or app for content distribution. We are finding it very difficult to convert people over to Locals, so we are always looking for new sites / apps for our content.
